Easter Weekend

Well, my Easter weekend was just wonderful. I got a ride home with one of my roommates and spent the weekend sitting around the house with my family, eating and watching movies. In my opinion, there is no better way to spend a holiday, especially since Easter is a largely religious holiday, and we aren't a part of any religions. But I still like it as a reason to hang out with my family.

Since we hadn't gotten any of out Easter decorations out, my mom and I decided to make some! She found this really cute pattern for tiny bunnies on the internet, and we spent a bunch of hours on Saturday making them. Aren't they precious! I love them. I made the grey and brown ones, and Janell made the cute purple, pink, orange, and striped ones. I brought my two back to school with me, and I'm going to hang one of them from the rearview in my Jeep.

Also, totally crazy, I realized when I was on my way back to school today that the next time I got home, I will be moving back for the summer! I am very excited by this prospect, and even more excited that I don't have to stay for finals week! All of my classes have big final projects that are due the week before finals, and then I have nothing, so I get to move home a week early! My family's also thinking about moving to the Salt Lake area, which I am really excited about. I would love to live and work in Salt Lake for the summer!

Cary Judd at The Velour

I finally finished editing these pictures from Cary Judd's show at The Velour last month. As always, Cary put on a dope show.

Baby Hats;Almost Done

First things first, I made these two baby hats in the last couple of days and I am very proud of them!

The one on the left does, in fact, have two reindeer on it. I'm sure you can see what they're doing.

Guys, I found that pattern a hundred years ago, and it is the funniest thing ever! I had to put it on a hat. Can't you see why? Anyway, I put it on a hat for my aunt Charly's baby, which is due in September. If you know Charly, then you know that this hat is perfect for her wee babe.

The one on the right is a pattern all my own. I pretty much made it up as I went along, and I think it turned out pretty well. I'm working on another hat right now that is red! I just love knitting baby stuff, it's so much fun and it goes so quickly.

In other news, I only have about four weeks left in this semester! Which means I get to move home soon! And I am very happy about that! I am mostly excited to move home and find a job. I thought I would like not working, but I kind of hate it. I'm excited to have a job so that I can buy yarn!
